Torcorey “Corey” Burnley is a sophomore at Lebanon High School in Wilson County. He is actively involved in a variety of school activities and has always been very active in Special Olympics. Some of the sports he has participated in include swimming, speed skating, roller skating, bowling, basketball, volleyball, track and field, and golf. He said his favorite is basketball.

Corey is very athletic and always excited about participating and competing in Special Olympic events. He is a fun to coach and a pleasure to be around. Corey is a leader and a positive influence to all of the athletes he is surrounded by. He is never too busy to make the other athletes feel good about themselves and give them a helping hand.

Corey anticipates graduation in 2010. He plans on getting a job and living independently. He will be an asset to our local community.
