Linda Lewis has been an avid Special Olympics Athlete since 1981. Born in December of 1942 Linda has been at KDS since 1962. She graduated from high school in Mississippi and remains a devout Ole Miss Rebel fan despite being surrounded by UT Vol fans since coming to KDS.

When asked her thoughts about Special Olympics Linda replied...

"I like to participate in Special Olympics. I have participated in many events such as Unified and Traditional Bowling and Bocce, the 100 meter walk, and the softball throw. I enjoy seeing my friends at all of the events. I really enjoy walking in the parade at the State Summer Games at Vandy each year. I have many fond memories. I have over 40 medals, so many that I can't keep count. Thanks to everyone who make the events possible. You all have made many dreams come true."
