Name: Johnny Stephany

Johnny Stephany has been a Special Olympics athlete since he was in elementary school. At thirty-six years of age, he has competed at local, state, and world games. Johnny is a well rounded athlete, having competed in soccer, softball, basketball, volleyball, team handball, bowling, athletics, and power lifting. Over the years, he has attended the state games in all of the above sports. He attended world games in power lifting and soccer. Johnny works full time as a care giver, returning to the community the support and helping hand he received growing up in Memphis. Johnny treats everyone with a quiet kindness that endears him to all he meets.
