Anita has been actively involved in Special Olympics since elementary school and has attended statewide Special Olympics events for four years. Her favorite state tournament is basketball but also enjoys the local bowling competition in Dickson, TN. This love for Special Olympics bowling has prompted Anita, along with several friends, to start a local bowling league. Anita enjoys making new friends at the events and seeing all her old friends

Anita graduated high school in 2006. She now works for Goody's and Meals on Wheels at the Dickson Senior Citizen Center.
