Destiny Jackson is a 14 year old athlete who for years has competed in Special Olympics bowling and track & field. This past summer Destiny decided to take on some new challenges with golf and equestrian. Destiny, never one to back down from a challenge, worked all summer training for the first Area 4 Equestrian Event and took home a silver medal at the State Equestrian Competition. She also competed in the last two state golf tournaments of the season. She has found that there are all kinds of new and exciting opportunities in Special Olympics, and no doubt will continue to challenge herself each and every year.
