Flag Football is the newest sport offered by Special Olympics Tennessee. The first tournament was held in October of 2009 with 15 teams. Flag Football is a 5v5 non-contact sport played by both males and females. Click here to see the rules. 2011 Tournament Info
When: Friday, September 30th and Saturday October 1st.
Where: Lighthouse Christian School, Antioch, TN
Who: 25 teams from across the state
7:30am Team Registration Opens
9:00am-5:00pm - Competition
*Games will start at 9am and begin each hour on 6 different fields. Each team is guaranteed two games and most will have three.
Lunch will be provided for all registered athletes, coaches and volunteers.
Special Olympics TN will not be providing dinner.
Volunteers
Special Olympics is looking for officials to help out at the tournament. Experience with officiating or playing flag football is recommended but not required. If interested please contact Sean Stake at sstake@specialolympicstn.org.
