This past week, the momentum from the Music City Corporate Challenge, presented by Lifepoint Health, continued with the Pickleball and Cornhole competitions. The Tennessee Titans took home the win in Pickleball, while the Nashville Predators were victorious in Cornhole. Thank you to all the companies that showed up and brought their best throughout the week, making for another exciting round of competition. A special thanks to Lipscomb and Sandbar for hosting the events.

Lee Company Champions Special Olympics: A Tradition of Heart and Community

Lee Company's yearly commitment to the Special Olympics stands as a deep-seated tradition. For many years, they have poured their heart and effort into this important event. It truly shows their strong community spirit.

"Special Olympics is near and dear to our hearts," said Jason Overstreet from Lee Company.

He speaks for many people there. This shared passion is why they return every single year. Their dedication highlights a true, lasting commitment.

Crowe: Building Community Through Teamwork and Inclusion

For Crowe, the Corporate Challenge was more than just a day of games. It was an opportunity to strengthen team bonds while supporting a cause that aligns with the firm’s values.

“Working with coworkers outside work and supporting the greater Nashville community… this is something Crowe has prioritized more recently,” said Jennifer Stein.

The event allowed employees to connect in a meaningful way while championing inclusion and showed how community involvement continues to shape Crowe’s culture.

Jackson Joins In: New Faces, Shared Purpose

This year in Jackson saw a new face, Vamsi Polavarapu. It was his first time participating in the competition.

"It's for a good cause," Vamsi shared, explaining why he wanted to help.

He also noted that it creates awareness, which makes the experience even more meaningful.

Jackson’s participation shows the widespread good this event does, bringing people together across teams. Newcomers like Vamsi add fresh energy to the tradition and help grow the impact year after year.

Inspired Participation at Lifepoint Health

For Shane Simmons at Lifepoint Health, the Special Olympics Corporate Challenge is more than just an event; it is deeply personal.

“My younger sister has Down syndrome. That is what inspired me to come out,” Simmons shared, explaining the motivation behind his participation.

The challenge allows Lifepoint employees to support a meaningful cause while also providing opportunities to network with other companies and work alongside colleagues they may not usually collaborate with.
