State Summer Games return for first time since 2019

Our State Summer Games returned for the first time since 2019. Thank you to Sen. Jeff Yarbro, Rep. John Ray Clemmons and Rep. Jason Powell for coming out to cheer on our athletes and even present medals to the winners.

Nashville SC signs Special Olympics Tennessee Unified Team

Nashville SC recently signed athletes from Special Olympics Tennessee Unified Soccer to the Nashville SC Unified Soccer Team. This was a tremendous moment for our athletes as they received a contract, jersey and an opportunity to play on the pitch at GEODIS Park with MLS players. They will also be playing other unified soccer teams partnered with MLS clubs in the future.

Opening Ceremonies of the 2022 State Summer Games.The event included the parade of athletes, emcee Jamie Watson, opening remarks from Hayley Wielgus, a speech from Commissioner Brad Turner, Super Bowl Champion and Lipscomb Academy football head coach Trent Dilfer, banner awards, Athlete of the Year and a declaration from NFL defensive end Vic Beasley.
