Why We Host Tip-A-Cops
The Law Enforcement Torch Run is the largest public awareness and grassroots fundraising movement benefiting Special Olympics around the world. Every dollar raised through Tip-A-Cop helps provide year-round sports training, competitions, leadership opportunities, health programs, and life-changing experiences for Special Olympics Tennessee athletes.
These events also strengthen the incredible partnership between law enforcement officers, Special Olympics athletes, staff, volunteers, and our local communities while promoting inclusion and showing that we are truly Guardians of the Flame.
