The first night of the Music City Corporate Challenge presented by Lifepoint Health was a success! Twelve teams played some intense, action-packed dodgeball at Lipscomb University. Silicon Ranch, CapStar, Nashville Predators, Currax Pharmaceuticals, Franklin Madison, Turner Co., Crowe LLP, N Contracts, Pillsbury Law, CapTrust, Tennessee Titans and Cooper Steel were in attendance for Tuesday’s dodgeball tournament.
Throughout the tournament-style bracket, divisions two and three competed to determine who would be the 2023 Music City Corporate Challenge dodgeball champions. The final matches — Tennessee Titans versus Pillsbury Law, and CapTrust versus Cooper Steel.
The Tennessee Titans came out victorious for the Division Two bracket. They played a complete set of final-round matches against Pillsbury, where they ended the final with a 4 to 1 stakeout. The Titans bring home gold for the second consecutive year, putting them at a great start to this year’s Music City Corporate Challenge.
“This is my third year competing in Corporate Challenge,” said Jackson Duncan of the Tennessee Titans. “I am pumped to be back with the Titans.”
Division Two silver medals were awarded to Pillsbury Law. Crowe, LLP took home bronze.
The Division Three bracket was won by Cooper Steel, first-time Music City Corporate Challenge competitors. The team of six faced CapTrust in the final round, bringing home gold against the rest of their competitors. Cooper Steel came ready to play and was overjoyed to be successful at Tuesday’s tournament.
CapTrust earned silver for the Division Three bracket, while N Contracts left with bronze.
