Day two of the 2022 Music City Corporate Challenge presented by LifePoint Health was full of dodgeball at Lipscomb University. The second day of competition included Ncontracts, Franklin Madison, Currax Pharmaceuticals, TrustCore, Aegis, Tennessee Titans and Nashville Predators.
To kick off this evening, it was Franklin Madison vs NContracts on Court 1 and TrustCore vs. Aegis on Court 2.
Despite an epic comeback, TrustCore took the game against Aegis, moving on to play Franklin Madison in the next round. Aegis went on to play NContracts.
Currax Pharmaceuticals had their first match-up against the Nashville Predators. The Predators took the win and played their second game against sports team rivals the Tennessee Titans.
Aegis had the first elimination of the night after their loss against NContracts. Currax Pharmaceuticals had the second elimination of the night after their loss against Franklin Madison. The Predators lost their game against the Titans and played against NContracts in game 8. The Titans went on the play TrustCore in game 9.
The Titans took the win over TrustCore while the Predators won their game against NContracts, giving them the third elimination of the night.
The Titans took a bit of a break as they rested from their winning streak while the Predators played Franklin Madison. Franklin Madison moved on to the next round while the Predators were the fourth team to be eliminated.
We saw Franklin Madison and TrustCore go head to head to see who would move on to the semi-finals. Ultimately, Franklin Madison took home the bronze as TrustCore went against the Titans again to see who would win gold.
TrustCore gave the Titans their first loss of the night, forcing another game. After a 2-2 tie, the Titans took home the gold for the evening as the second night of dodgeball wrapped up.
Thank you to all the teams that came out and helped make it an eventful two days. The next event in the Music City Corporate Challenge will be Camp Gladiator at Lipscomb University on July 19th at 6 PM.
