It was another great evening at The Golf House Tennessee Learning Center in Franklin for the Music City Corporate Challenge hosted by the Special Olympics Tennessee. The teams in attendance were Asurion, UBS, AllianceBernstein, Jackson, First Horizon, Lee Company, TrustCore, Tennessee Titans, Aegis Sciences Corporation, Nashville Predators, Franklin-Madison, Currax Pharmaceuticals and Ncontracts. At the event, the thirteen teams were split into two divisions. In each division, the teams competed for a gold, silver and bronze medal.

There were two sections to Tuesday’s event. The first section was a fun chip and putting contest that added five points to the final overall scores of the teams. In division one, Cecil Brown from Jackson won the putting contest, and Austin Garrett from First Horizon won the chipping contest. In division two, Seth Powell from Trustcore won the putting contest and Matt Herndon from Franklin Madison won the chipping contest.

The second part of the event was the par three nine-hole course that all the teams participated. During the round, five more points were added to the teams whose players got closest to the pin. In Division One, the two winners were Henry High from First Horizon and David Badalucco from Jackson. And in Division two, Christopher Westerfield from Aegis Sciences Corporation and Seth Powell from TrustCore.

The lowest individual score was also tallied at the event. In division one, William Reeves from AllianceBernstein came in first place, and tied for second was Cliff from Asurion, Dan Nembhard from Asurion, and Henry High from First Horizon. In Division two, Christopher Westerfield from Aegis Sciences Corporation had the lowest score and Kevin Coleman from the Tennessee Titans had the second lowest score.

At the end of the event, medals were given out to the top three teams in each division. In Division Two, Aegis Sciences Corporation came in third place, The Tennessee Titans came in second place and TrustCore came in first place winning the gold medal. In Division One, AllianceBernstein came in third place winning the bronze, UBS came in second place winning the silver, and Asurion came in first place winning the gold.
