As we finished up our last Music City Corporate Challenge event this week, we wanted to give the biggest thank you and express our gratitude to those that participated; Aegis Sciences Corporation, AllianceBernstein, Asurion, Currax Pharmaceuticals, First Horizon, Franklin Madison, Jackson, Lee Company, Nashville Predators, Ncontracts, Tennessee Titans, TrustCore and UBS. We truly could not have done the event without you!

We first kicked off Music City Corporate Challenge at Lipscomb University for two nights of Dodgeball! UBS became our first gold medalist that night after defeating Jackson, giving them the silver. Our other medalist that night was the incredibly kind First Horizon Bank, going home with the bronze.

Night two of Dodgeball was presented by LifePoint Health and was full of peak athleticism. The companies truly gave it their all during these events and it made each game more and more exciting to watch. On the leader board during night two were the Tennessee Titans with gold, TrustCore with silver, and Franklin Madison with bronze.

As we moved away from Lipscomb University’s gym, we took hold of their intermural fields to host the next event. The teams were able to compete in three separate fitness challenges with the help of the wonderful coaches of Camp Gladiator! Watching was a lot better than participating, but the incredible coaches were able to make the workouts fun and helped the teams through each of them. The teams were split into two divisions, the first division podium was AllianceBernstein went home with the bronze, Lee Company with the silver, and UBS with the gold. In division two, Aegis Sciences Corporation had the bronze, TrustCore took home the silver, and the Nashville Predators took the gold.

We make it back to Lipscomb University’s gym one last time for Cornhole. The teams were again split into two divisions where they competed in a round robin to figure out brackets. Once we got to the medal rounds, the teams played best two out of three to see who the winners were that night. In division two, the Tennessee Titans took home the bronze, the Nashville Predators took the silver, while TrustCore took it all with the gold. In division one, First Horizon came in third place, Asurion with the silver, and AllianceBernstein, with the wicked arm, came out on top.

Week four of Music City Corporate Challenge found us on the golf course! A big shout out to The Golf House Tennessee Learning Center in Franklin for the hospitality on such a beautiful evening. Teams were able to show off their golfing skills on the nine-hole course and during the putting and chipping competition. Medals were given to the top three teams in each division. In division one, AllianceBernstein came in third, UBS came in second, and Asurion went home with the gold. In division two, Aegis Sciences Corporation took home the bronze, the Tennessee Titans came in second place, and TrustCore with the gold medal.

Special Olympics took to the alleys for the fifth week of Music City Corporate Challenge presented by LifePoint Health, Bowling! Donelson Plaza Strike was our fabulous host this week and were incredible. Again, the teams were spilt into two divisions and competed against one another in their respective division. In division one, UBS came in third, AllianceBernstein came in second with the silver, and Lee Company with the gold! In division two, Franklin Madison finished in third with bronze, TrustCore took home the silver, and the Tennessee Titans took the gold.

All the teams meet up one last time for Trivia at Fat Bottom Brewery. We had excellent questions picked out by Jen D’Annunzio, our leading lady for Music City Corporate Challenge and the Development Manager for Special Olympics Tennessee. Jackson was our sponsor of the evening and we were lucky enough to have them a part of the challenge! We were able to find out who the winners of trivia were as well as the standings for the Corporate Challenge overall. For trivia, the division one podium was UBS in third, AllianceBernstein with the silver, and Jackson with the gold.

Now, for the overall standings, in division one, our podium was Jackson coming in third to take home the bronze, AllianceBernstein came in second with the silver, and UBS took it all with the gold. The division two standings were the Tennessee Titans taking home the bronze, The Nashville Predators in second with the silver and TrustCore winning the gold.

That is a wrap on Music City Corporate Challenge presented by LifePoint Health 2022! Again, we want to express our gratitude to all the teams that participated and all the venues for hosting. We would not be able to do it without you! Until next year!
