The 2026 Music City Corporate Challenge came to an exciting close this week as teams gathered for the final two events of the summer, cornhole and trivia, before celebrating this year's fundraising and overall champions.
The final week began with the cornhole tournament, where competitors battled through a competitive bracket for one last opportunity to earn points for their companies. AllianceBernstein claimed the Division I championship, while Old National Bank captured the Division II title.
The season concluded with trivia, where teams put their knowledge to the test in a fun and fast-paced competition. Bridgestone earned the Division I trivia championship, while CAPTRUST took home the Division II title.
Following the final event, companies were recognized not only for their athletic achievements but also for their commitment to supporting Special Olympics Tennessee through fundraising efforts. Hankook Tire was named the Division I fundraising champion, while CAPTRUST earned Division II fundraising honors. CAPTRUST led the overall fundraising competition with more than $17,000 raised, while Hankook Tire raised more than $5,000 in support of Special Olympics Tennessee athletes.
When the final points were tallied, Hankook Tire secured the Division I overall championship, and Old National Bank claimed the Division II overall championship. In an impressive accomplishment, both overall champions captured their titles during their first year participating in Corporate Challenge.
Beyond the competition, this year's event made an even greater impact through fundraising. Together, participating companies raised more than $46,000 to support Special Olympics Tennessee, helping provide year-round sports training, competition, health programs and leadership opportunities for more than 21,000 athletes across the state.
Over four weeks, companies competed in dodgeball, bowling, golf, pickleball, cornhole and trivia while building stronger teams and making a meaningful difference for Special Olympics Tennessee athletes. Every event, donation and volunteer contribution helped make the 2026 Music City Corporate Challenge another successful year.
Special Olympics Tennessee extends its sincere appreciation to every participating company, employee, volunteer and supporter who made this year's Corporate Challenge possible. Thank you to our sponsors — Bridgestone, Hankook Tire, Old National Bank, Nashville Predators and Silicon Ranch Corporation — for helping create an unforgettable month of competition and impact.
Congratulations to all of this year's champions, and thank you to everyone who participated throughout the 2026 Music City Corporate Challenge. We look forward to welcoming everyone back next summer for another incredible season.
