Divisions 2 and 3 hit the lanes at Hendersonville Strike and Spare on Tuesday night to earn points for their teams in this year’s Music City Corporate Challenge bowling competition. Division 2 teams on deck included CapStar, Crowe LLP, Pillsbury Law, Nashville Predators, Tennessee Titans, and Turner Construction for Division 2. CAPTRUST, Currax Pharmaceuticals, Franklin Madison, N Contracts, Silicon Ranch and the Special Olympics Tennessee Board of Directors and Young Professionals Board represented Division 3. The bowling competition consisted of two games played by teams of five. The team with the highest combined score from the two games earns gold.

Crowe, LLP. earned their third Corporate Challenge medal and brought home the gold in the bowling competition, with a total team score of 1335. High scorers in the Division 2 competition were Bill Glaus of CapStar and Peter Berce of the Nashville Predators. Glaus bowled a 186 individually, adding to his overall score of 300. Berce took 302 overall, with a high individual score of 172. The Preds walked away with silver, scoring 1178 points, and Pillsbury Law took bronze with 1129.

CAPTRUST kept their three-game winning streak alive at Hendersonville Strike and Spare, walking away with 1225 total team points and another gold medal. High scorers in the Division 3 bracket were Tanner Scott of Silicon Ranch and Ben Flatt of the Special Olympics Tennessee Board of Directors and Young Professionals Board. Scott earned the top individual score of 176 and a total score of 315. Flatt’s overall score just topped Scott's with a 329 and individual high score of 173. The Special Olympics Tennessee Board of Directors and Young Professionals Board captured silver, and Silicon Ranch earned bronze with 1094.

Special Olympics Tennessee athletes Emily Cage and Jerry Butler contributed to the team's overall score of 1181. Butler is a frequent bowler at Hendersonville Strike and Spare, which made him prepared to achieve as many strikes as possible during the two games. Cage noted that she came back to the bowling alley for the first time in a few years for Corporate Challenge bowling. However, she didn't show much rust in her skills during the event. Cage and Butler assisted in leading the Special Olympics Tennessee Board of Directors and Young Professionals Board to silver.
