The Unified Exchange Flag Football game between Special Olympics Tennessee and Special Olympics Massachusetts was one to remember. Both teams had fun attending a Tennessee Titans game against the New England Patriots at Nissan Stadium, then competing on the field where the pros play.

Following the game, athletes were guided down to the field and began the Unified flag football game shortly after the Titans and Patriots game ended.

Austin Clark plays for the Green Giants United Flag Football Team out of Special Olympics Tennessee's Southeast Region. He says he’s been playing for SOTN for a long time and always has a ton of fun.

“All of my best friends play with me and it makes the game harder,” said Clark on why he enjoys playing with a Unified team.

Austin said experiencing an NFL game was super fun and a great way to hang out with his teammates.

“It was so cool to see the Titans play and then play on the same field,” said Clark.

Next year, Austin will play at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games in Minnesota, representing Tennessee with his Green Giants teammates in flag football.

“I am very excited for USA Games and to travel with my friends,” said Clark.
